We are very happy to welcome you to Biel/Bienne! Our aim is to make your stay and travel as smooth as possible.
To facilitate the allocation of hotel rooms, each person will now be responsible for their own reservation. SIB has negotiated preferential rates in walking distance hotels only, for participants in the SIB days.

For SIB Employees: Please note that a credit card number is required for booking purposes. It will not be debited, except in the event of a "no show". Regrettably, we encountered approximately twenty no-shows in the last SIB days, resulting in a substantial financial impact. Therefore, the request for a credit card is aimed at ensuring a responsible use of resources. For the reservation system to function correctly, a nominal amount of 0.05 CHF will appear. This amount is purely fictive and will not be debited.
All prices are including breakfast and tourist tax.
Cancellation is free of charge up to 4 days before the date of arrival, after which 100% of the first night will be charged to the credit card used to make the reservation.
To cancel your hotel room, please contact Biel-Seeland Tourism office: info@biel-seeland.ch. SIB is not responsible for hotel bookings.
The service of bus transfer is no longer offered by SIB and participants are encouraged to take public transport.
SIB Employees will be reimbursed for their train ticket. Please note that other means of transportation will not be reimbursed.
