What’s included in my SIB days registration?

• Full access to the conference sessions on Tuesday 25 June and Wednesday 26 June, encompassing a broad spectrum of talks and presentations.
• Admission to workshops and tutorials on Monday 24 June, along with a targeted half-day Career Track for PhDs and Postdocs, at no additional fee. However, due to limited seats registration for these sessions is required.
• An invitation to our special social event on Tuesday 25 June, offering a perfect opportunity for networking and relaxation.

Do I need to register separately for the tutorials & workshops, and/or the Career Track?
Yes, access to these sessions is included in your conference registration but requires a separate sign-up due to limited space. Early registration is advised to secure your participation.

Is SIB days attendance mandatory?
Attendance at SIB days is strongly encouraged, but not mandatory. SIB days is renowned for its conviviality and quality both in terms of activities and presentations. Our committee is proposing this year again a very interesting programme, mixing interactive sessions, two keynote speeches of interest to all and parallel sessions promoting the best of Swiss bioinformatics as well as non-scientific topics. And of course, an evening to remember… Be sure to register and join us.

Is attendance at the tutorials and workshops on 24 June mandatory?
No, attendance is optional.  However, due to limited seating, registration is necessary for those wishing to participate. To secure your spot we recommend registering as early as possible.

If I want to book a single room, what is the price?
The cost for a single room is 60.- CHF per night or 120.- CHF for two nights.

Can I book a room from Monday to Wednesday?
Our room availability for the night of Monday 24 June to Tuesday 25 June is limited. Due to constraints on our budget and the limited number of rooms, overnight accommodations for Monday 24 June are prioritized for those attending tutorials and workshops, as well as participants in the Council of Group Leaders meeting and the Career Track. We encourage attendees traveling from distant locations to consider this when planning their arrival.

How can I cancel or modify my hotel room booking?
Cancel for free up to 4 days before your arrival. For later cancellations, the first night's fee applies. Please contact Biel-Seeland Tourism at info@biel-seeland.ch  for modifications; SIB does not handle hotel bookings.
