Cancellation policy

Please note that SIB is charged for last minute cancellations.

To help us avoid unnecessary costs, please make sure to announce any change related to your participation as soon as possible.

SIB members who are not SIB employees
In case of non-attendance without a valid reason (medical certificate, family emergency, etc.), there will be no refunds for cancellations received after 24 May 2016.

Group Leaders funded by SIB for a SIB core resource, as well as for all SIB employees
For SIB employees and Group Leaders whose attendance is mandatory, the costs are waived in full. In case of non-attendance without a valid reason (medical certificate, etc.), a no-show fee (CHF 200 plus already committed costs such as hotel) will be charged to the Group Leader.
